Let me share my absolutely terrible online shopping experience, hoping it serves as a warning for anyone considering this company. What I encountered was nothing short of a rip-off, and it's clear this place is nothing more than an automated business that cares nothing about its customers. They are a fraud, ripping customers off for services that they charge for and do NOT provide. I paid for 'next day delivery,' believing that meant my glasses would arrive quickly. But when an email confirmed my order would take '3 business days' to process, I knew something was wrong. That's why I immediately tried to reach out to their customer service, only to find an automated labyrinth.
Customer: I paid $19.95 for next-day delivery, and now I'm told my order will take 3 business days to process. What's going on? That's not next-day delivery, it's false advertising! CS Rep: I understand your frustration, and I apologize for the confusion. The "next day delivery" option you selected refers to the shipping carrier's service level after the glasses complete our internal processing, which for all orders, including those with Plano lenses, can take 1-3 business days. Customer: That's not what "next day delivery" implies on your website, especially when there's nothing to "produce" for Plano lenses! I paid for a service that's clearly not being provided. I expect a full refund for that $19.95 fee. CS Rep: I sincerely apologize for the lack of clarity regarding our delivery process. I can certainly submit a request to our billing department right now to process a full refund for the expedited delivery fee. You should see that credit applied within 5-7 business days. Customer: So, I just have to wait for the refund and still wait days for glasses I paid extra to get quickly? This is completely unacceptable. CS Rep: Your order is currently expected to ship out today, February 21st, via UPS Next Day Air. The refund request for the shipping fee has been noted on your account to address your concern.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap and experiencing this kind of automated, uncaring service.
