Scam Alert! 🚨 Paid for "Next-Day" Delivery, Got a Week & Zero Care!
I’m sharing my terrible online shopping experience as a serious warning to others. This place is nothing more than an automated business that cares nothing about its customers. They are a fraud, ripping customers off for services that they charge for and do NOT provide. I paid an extra $19.95 for "next day delivery" but then received an email saying it would take 3 business days. My order was placed on 02-18 and didn't even get delivered until 02-24! This was clearly not "next day delivery," especially for glasses with Plano lenses that required no prescription, meaning there was no "production" delay. I felt completely ripped off and ignored, which is why I was compelled to reach out to customer service to demand a refund for a service I never received.
Customer: I paid for next-day delivery, and my order certainly wasn't delivered next day. It took almost a week! I need a refund for the $19.95 next-day delivery fee. CS Rep: I understand your frustration with the delivery timeframe. I see your order was placed on February 18th and delivered on February 24th. We do apologize for any delays. Customer: But your website explicitly said "eligible for next day delivery," and I paid for it. An email then said 3 business days, and it actually took six. This is false advertising, and I expect my $19.95 back immediately. CS Rep: I hear your concern about the discrepancy between the advertised delivery and the actual delivery. I will submit a request to our billing department regarding a refund for the expedited shipping fee. They will review your case. Customer: "Review my case"? You didn't provide the service I paid for. This isn't a "request"; it's a demand for a refund for a service you failed to deliver. When can I expect to see that credit? CS Rep: The billing department typically processes requests within 3-5 business days. You will be notified via email once a decision has been made.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap of paying for services that are never rendered.
